Decorating with candles

While decorating homes, candles are often an after-thought, and usually not considered an integral part at the design stage. Yet, they can create such magic and fill our homes with warmth. Today candles come in a variety of shape, colours, designs and sizes and you can use them across the house to ring in the appropriate mood as desired. Let’s explore a few ways of using candles.

Dinner Table: You can use a large candle or a combination of candles to form a centre-piece in a dining table. Add some romance to your meals.

Bathroom: You can cluster candles and keep them in the corner of a bathroom, and keep it fresh. By using bright coloured candles, you break the monotony of a monochromatic bathroom. Lastly you can even burn an aromatic candle, relax in the bath and soothe your senses.

Bedroom: Candles add romance in bedrooms. Light them on a side table, windowsill, or beautiful sconces to create a warm, nightly glow. They add a bit of whimsy and old-age appeal so even the most contemporary and modern rooms.

Living Room hallway: For the ultimate welcome to your guests, create a candle halo at the entrance. Burn an aromatic candle and say hi to your guests.
